I have found a new way to enjoy a book. I loaded Hoopla onto my phone and iPad and have been enjoying listening to audiobooks once again. I forgot how much more entertaining cooking, cleaning, and walking can be while listening to an audiobook. You can find Hoopla on the Portland District Library website or by hoopladigital.com. Portland Creates submission period ends this week!

 

Portland Creates is in the last week for accepting submissions. Artists ages 6 and older can submit artwork of all types—paintings, drawings, sculptures, photos, and more. Stop by the Portland District Library and turn in your original masterpiece by April 23rd. Artwork will be on display during the month of May. Voting begins May 3rd until May 28th so be sure to come vote for your favorite artwork!
